Performer Rejects Anti-Vax Stance Following Voicing Controversial Coronavirus Documentary

Liam Neeson has given his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that casts doubt on the legitimacy of vaccinations and praises one-time health official Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Disputed Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is based on a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for claims that Covid was a result of a problematic version of the influenza shot.

The book's writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has also written books with far-right figure the Infowars host. He took to social media praising Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Strong Denial

The team of Neeson have provided a response strongly denying suggestions that he holds anti-vaccine beliefs.

"Many understand that misconduct might be present within the medical sector, but that should never be conflated with being against vaccines," the comment reads. "Liam has never been, and remains not, anti-vaccination. His long work with the UN children's agency highlights his enduring support for public-health initiatives."

The statement continued that the actor was not involved in crafting the film's messaging and that questions about its content are best addressed to the filmmakers.

Central Claims In the Feature

In the film, the script read by Neeson makes several controversial claims:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "blind obedience" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "medical science has become highly influenced by politics."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown stating, "The big problem with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • The narration takes aim at Covid lockdowns, saying they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning the immunizations, it mentions a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Context and Ongoing Issues

The documentary includes a historical film about clinical trials on children, which was subsequently the focus of a BBC apology by the broadcaster for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, the political figure directed the CDC to alter its official position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This assertion is repeated in the film, despite a new report from the global health body reiterating no such link has been found.

A Previous Statement of Endorsement

Differing from the documentary's message, Neeson has formerly voiced firm endorsement for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "an incredible achievement," noting that "The discourse about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in human history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's script saying, "This isn't the end of our story. This is the beginning of a different phase."
