"We probably would find it impossible to build and design this new game absent the lessons we had in Battlefield 2042," Rebecka shares with us.

Among those takeaways was to engage players engaged early, and the developers started exclusive player playtests not long ago.

The "response was incredibly favorable," states Rebecka.

One more missing ingredient from Battlefield 2042 was a solo experience, which has been brought back this time around.

The UK studio design director the design director is the person in charge of "ensuring those missions are as enjoyable and interesting as feasible for the gamers."

Regardless of claims that the scale of the project had challenged the different studios partnering globally to develop the project, the director is optimistic about the work.

"Working with varied cultures, distinct experiences, it's a truly engaging atmosphere to be part of daily," he explains.

"This whole method has been an innovation but also really thrilling because we are partnering with team members from all over the world."

As for the anticipation on the team, Fas states: "There is pressure but also it's thrilling.

"This is a large project. It's probably the most significant that many of us have ever participated in."

Emerging Developer Adds Fresh Insight

That's certainly accurate of a minimum of a single team member, lighting artist Vlad.
